ok so yesterday I went to Malmö with Irene, Kenta, Alex and Crystal. Even though it rained all day long and it was super cold it was fun, we walked around the city center in the morning and listen to some live jazz. Then we basically spend the afternoon in a really nice café getting warm and ready for Warpaint.
We headed to the square where the concert took place like an hour and something ago ‘cause we wanted to have a good spot, the surprise was that NOBODY was waiting for them, we were so pissed off but it was good ‘cause we could be at first row in the middle. Well actually yes, there were these three girls with whom we started talking. They are from Gothenburg and they have a band, you should check them out they are called The Tape. They were really nice and excited about the concert. 50 minutes before the concert started another 3 guys came, they were from North Sweden and they drove 18 hours just to see them, how crazy is that? Anyways soundcheck started and Jenny appeared !!!!!!!! She was there playing and then Stella appeared and they were just soundchecking but there was a bit more of audience waiting and it was raining and very cold (as before and as during the concert) so we would started dancing and singing so we would feel better. And then the concert started and it was magical, and a blast and the rain was falling and in love is to die Theresa was so near the public that she probably got wet but man that moment was…. I cannot describe it with words, I almost cry. They played a bunch of old songs (bees, undertow, composure, beetles, elephants…) which was really cool of them and at the end of the concert (they were playing elephants) Theresa left but the rest of the girls started jamming during 5 minutes or so it was SO COOL I mean c’mon they play so well it was awesome I’m so happy we went to see them (+ I got the setlist!!).
update num.2 for people that may care about me around here (and also for me ‘cause I’ll really need to remember at some point in the future what was going on in my life atm):
my danish intensive course is as intensive as my new social life
and both are as intensive as it used to be my social life on the internet so that can give you an idea of what is going on and how everything has changed in less than 2 weeks and why I’m not here anymore
Alex and Kenta are the best, believe me thank god one is gay and the other one has a girlfriend otherwise I would just fall in love with both at the same time
Katrine aka. my roommate is the best and I love her and she’s basically the best I’m so sad she went to Jutland ‘til monday, she left yesterday morning and I’m already missing her
the light that comes to my room still amazes me so much and in general the sky here is so nice I can’t explain it with words
I can’t believe the building where I’ll be studying all these 2 next years actually exists and I can’t believe how amazing my campus is, believe me those buildings are pieces of art they should be in a museum or something
I met this guy he’s nice and has long blonde hair and he texts me at night (he’s what Irene and I called a classic viking, btw Irene is the sweetest)
we have open cinema during this week for free at fælledparken and it’s just amazing, as well as a free music festival in Vesterbro every afternoon and a party at Alex’s kollektiv on saturday nice
everything is amazing and I can’t believe this is actually my life I mean this is real life it’s unbelievable
so it seems that we’re going out tonight to a club where they play nice music, like rock and stuff and it’s 1,5km from my place AMAZING i love nordvest (how silly I was looking for something in north amager and avoiding nordvest)
